Welcome

to Cichy Zakątek!

We occupy a beautiful spot, on top of a hill near a birch forest. Surrounded by picturesque mountain countryside with wide open space around, Cichy Zakątek is the choice for those who seek comfort and relaxation. Prompted by our Guests’ suggestions, we created an ideal place for families with small children or groups of preschoolers with teachers.

Those who value natural treasures untouched by human hand, genuine local traditions and mountain-hiking will find it all here. Cichy Zakatek makes a great retreat for those who crave to escape the city. We are happy to advise and help you whenever needed. When not needed – we are invisible.

You are cordially invited!

Sights in the area

The Rabka area is a perfect start point for mountain hiking. The outstanding sights of the Beskid Wyspowy, Gorce, Podhale region, Orava, Spisz, as well as the towns of Cracow, Wadowice and Stary Sacz encourage you to hit the trail to plunge into the beauty of Lesser Poland.

Families with children can have all-day fun at ‘Rabkoland’ theme park and the museum of oddities and world records. The history-oriented tourists may want to pay a visit at the Władysław Orkan Musem in an old church. Another attraction worth checking out is the Chabowka Railway Heritage Park.

Your kids will love the repertoire of Rabcio theatre performances. A unique pottery shop will attract those interested in traditional crafts. Novices can try their hand at this rare craft, guided by an experienced potter. Fancy glass painting? Enroll in the workshops.

Enjoy winter sports? Rabka is the place. A number of ski lifts are scattered around Rabka. One can practice classic technique skiing just outside of Cichy Zakatek. A skate rank is available in town.

My również szczerze polecamy to urokliwe miejsce! Pozdrawiamy serdecznie

My son and I stayed for five nights. it’s in a lovely quiet location. Ideal for visiting Zakopane, Babia Góra, and other sites, although you will need a car. The owners are charming and although pani Sarka doesn’t speak English her daughter does, although she isn’t there all the time. it is really geared up for families with young children. Lots of toys and lovely out door play area. The rooms are clean and bright. Breakfast, lunch and tea are provided if you wish to eat but there is no menu to choose from and tea is served at 5pm. The food was tasty. There is a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities plus a microwave for your use in the communal dining area.

Poza tym wszystkim jeszcze pokoje i łazienki czyściutkie. Właściciele zawsze pomocni i mili.

Polecam serdecznie!!!
